Not in all cases, as it depends on the severity of the allergy. Some people only have a mild reaction and can push through it while many people may even have an allergy and not know it because the allergy is so mild.

I was told to stop eating fiber and I work a demanding job.
I took the breath tests to rule out IBS before I had the scopes done I think. They took biopsies in each of the scopes. No cancer, no IBS. No bacteria. No blockages. Nothing seems to make it feel better or worse. It's just this always creeping pain. Occasionally I have sharp pains to the left of my belly button but I have no idea where it comes from.
My bloodwork is normal as well. Or seems normal. Either someone fucked up when they took a cbc with a differential or something was wrong and something fixed it the next time I got it taken.

Right now I'm on bentyl and an antacid (though I've stopped taking the antacid because my digestion seems slow and I don't feel any different on and off it, after being on it an entire year.)

Quite literally from being too clean. Humans used to have all sort of weird critters in their guts due to bad hygiene. Once you get rid of that, the immunize system has nothing better to do than go for regular food. That's why kids who play in the dirt and eat their boogers have better immune systems and are healthier overall.

That's all you took away from my comment? The only thing to consider isn't cleanliness. It's acces to medical care and also a large diet to expose allergies. When was the last time you were tested? As a child I was allergic to nuts, shellfish, fish, and mustard. Now I'm just allergic to shellfish, mustard, and milk out of fucking nowhere. Get tested again is what I'm saying, you might have grown out of your allergy. And I try to keep up with the literature on food allergies. There's been a high correlation with poor gut populations and food allergies. So you may be able to eat someone's poop in the future and be cured of allergies.

>> No.6598974

>>6598605
This isn't quite like autism in that there wasn't proper diagnoses before, because we've known about food allergies for a good amount of time, since the 20s. Food allergies are continuing to climb by percentage of total population, even in the last ten years. Yes diagnosis processes are much better, but in other countries with poor hygiene we see much healthier gut bacteria, something that's been heavily associated with lower food allergies, in fact something that has been proven recently to cause peanut allergies. There is a lot of pseudoscience in the food realm, but the hygiene hypothesis carries a ton of literature backing it up.

5 years ago my mouth would swell up upon eating just one cherry and my eyes and nose would turn into a mush in spring.

This is not how a serious allergy works. I found out I was allergic to nuts at three years old. My mother was making cookies with brazil nuts in them and she asked me if I wanted to try one. Being a little kid and having never tried anything similar before I "tried" it by just barely scraped my teeth against it. I started passing out and very nearly died on my way to the hospital. If you have an allergy severe enough to send you into anaphylactic shock you can even go into it by kissing someone who ate that food shortly after or by a minute amount of it getting into the food you'll eat which is why you're supposed to tell your server that you're allergic- so the cooks can clean and sterilize the area that they'll use to prepare your food.
