I did this by accident once. Had an appointment somewhere and was a little early so I ducked into a coffee shop for the first time in my life.

I've always known it's "espresso" but for some reason I actually got nervous and asked for an "expresso." Took me about 30 seconds to realise why the guy behind the counter gave me a dirty look.
