I'm always interested in seeing what a typical diet from around the world is. So what do other people eat daily from other countries? what do you eat in a day /ck/ and how much? Name were you are from, and what you eat for breakfast / lunch / dinner or any snacks.

I'll start
> Living in murica

Breakfast: Usually a piece of fruit, tiny bit of Greek yogurt, and a homemade croissant or chocolate croissant

Lunch: Some kind of small homemade soup or a little bit of seafood.

Snacks: I try not to snack, usually just drink a bunch of water or ice coffee with sugar when a little hungry which is not often.

Dinner: A pretty big meal with some kind of roasted protein, veggie side dish, have a tiny dessert sometimes.

breakfast [10:00am]
plain oatmeal, it's the kind that's rolled thinner so it can be cooked with just boiling water.

lunch [2:30pm]
usually smaller portions of leftover dinner, usually it's mostly a carb like rice pasta or bread with cooked veggies (usually bellpeper) and a little fruit with cheese/meat although the cheese/meat is optional

snack [5:00pm]
I usually eat a cucumber or carrot when I get home from work

dinner [7-8:00pm]
lots of variety here grilled chicken and roasted veggies is pretty common for me

Dutch person

Breakfast:
Tuna / egg salad sandwich

Lunch:
3 more tuna / egg salad sandwiches

Dinner:
Very much depends on the day of the week. Weekdays it's usually a carb like potatoes, with veg and meat. pasta/noodle and rice dishes aren't that uncommon either. Fairly typical food for my country, except I never have a desert even though a lot of people here do.

Snacks: Usually a couple of beers with some peanuts or other salty stuff.

Weekends I usually skip breakfast and do a lighter lunch.

Currently also cutting one sandwich / day and trying not to drink as much beer / snack as much. Want to lose some weight.

>>6677116
I'm guessing you only burn maybe 1600 Kcal / day with that diet. Although croissants are pretty heavy calorie wise.

>Breakfast
Only eaten if it is something that will keep me full. Plain greek yogurt, or eggs on toast, or plain rolled oatmeal, or miso soup, or a balanced meal smoothie (chocolate flavored) are some current examples.

>Lunch
Leftover protein + vegetable. Think pork and creamed spinach. Chicken thighs and sauteed cabbage and onions. Beef and mushrooms. Sometimes a salad, sometimes just a sandwich (usually ham, spinach, onions). Almost always throw a small wedge of soft cheese with it, and if I'm extra hungry, then a side of frozen peas or a fruit if I have it to take (banana, canteloupe, watermelon being most popular).

>Dinner
Whatever I want to make fresh. Usually it's those same foods from breakfast and lunch (gotta make it fresh sometime). I will also do whole grain spaghetti, wilted spinach, and parmesan. I will make soups or spaghetti. I eat a lot of shrimp (and more shrimp) and fish (usually something white like cod, sometimes salmon). Probably more starches like rice (mexican or fried) and only a whole baked potato (rarer). Since corn is in season, an ear of corn is common. More veggies (peas (pod and without), spinach, onion, mushroom, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, etc. are my most common, and fruit like tart cherries, sweet cherries, plums, peaches, nectarines, grapes, bananas, pineapple, kiwi, etc.

This is what I eat when I want to be healthy. I focus on a protein to get full, add a vegetable (usually cruciferous if I can) next, and try to fill it out with a fruit or whole grain, and go from there.

When I'm not eating healthy, then I am the stereotypical fast food, fast food, frozen pizza asshole, but I've been eating right for awhile now. It's hard to cook all the time for one person alone when you love greasy fucking cheeseburgers.

American here
Breakfast is usually some sort of leftovers or a protein shake with a cup of oats that I let soak in the milk overnight
Lunch is usually another protein shake after lifting, then grilled chicken or pork, since it's summer, with a side of whatever vegetable I feel like
Dinner is carb heavy whatever the hell I want. Last night I just mixed ground beef and mushrooms with quinoa and covered it in hot sauce. It was okay.
Snacks are cottage cheese, nuts, sardines, sandwiches.
I try to get in 3500 calories a day at least.

Italian citizen but grew up in various other countries and currently live in US.

>Breakfast:
Coffee with milk. Usually a pastry or tartines with jam or a breakfast cereal of some sort, such as müesli or granola or a store-bought one like Cheerios or something.

>Lunch:
Leftovers, usually. See dinner below.

>Snack:
Damned near anything but not usually sweets. In the last several days, I remember having crisps/chips, crackers, tartines with livermush, tartines with cheese, salads/raw veg (with vinaigrette to dip them in) and fruits (nectarine, orange, kiwifruit).

>Dinner:
Varies enormously.
Pasta with something (usually vegetarian stuff such as veg-based condiments/sauces, bean-based condiments/sauces, tomato sauces etc). Roasts. Barbecued/grilled foods. Rice dishes. Sautés and stir-fries. Stews/curries/soups of various backgrounds. Fried eggs (seldom-to-never eat them at breakfast). In the last few days, I remember cooking bitter gourd stir-fried with prawns/shrimp, bitter gourd egg curry, quick chili, falafel-like lentil patties, homemade pizza, pasta with lentils, pasta with zucchine, pasta with Spanish pumpkin, cold cabbage curry and several other things.
About two-thirds of what I eat is vegetarian and about half of that lacks animal products altogether.

Russia here. Usually breakfast is an omelette with onions, an apple, or magkiy tvorog, basically a yogourt version of cottage cheese. A cup of coffee or tea as well.
Lunch is usually homemade food, like soup or cabbage/meat pie. Same for dinner.
As for snacks, me and my grandparents have tea time twice a day, and thats usually tea with fresh cherries, raspberries, and other fruit, along with crackers and maybe small chocolates.

Breakfast: Cup of black coffee, a savory pastry, and a bowl of cherries.

Lunch: Rice with fried vegetables.

Dinner: Split peas with bread and feta cheese.

Russia

Breakfast. Fried eggs and ommeletes, french toasts, sausages or buterbrods (open sandwiches). Sometimes a porridge or seminola or rice cooked in milk. Anything left from yesterday. Tea.

Lunch (though it is actually called "Oбeд", a dinner). Whatever you bring to work, or ordered in local cafeteria. Usually similar to dinner/supper. Tea.

Dinner (it is also called "Ужин", supper).
Soups - too many to list. They are very important, it's considered healthy to eat soup at least once a day.
Macaroni, buckwheat, rice or mashed potatoes with some gravy and meat or large meatballs.
Pelmyeni (meat dumplings).
Pirogi (baked or fried pies with variety of simple fillings - ground meat or liver, rice and fish, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes).
Bliny - thin pancakes, either eaten alone with sour cream or jam, or wrapped around various fillings (ground meat, onion and boiled eggs, cottage cheese).
"French meat" - it has nothing to do with France, it's just a casserole with sliced potatoes, onions, meat and mayo (sometimes also a cheese).
Russian salad.
There are many other dishes, it's just a quick rundown.
Tea.

Snacks - tea, buterbrods, some pastry or candies. More tea.
