So this new place opened up in Canberra, and serves these.

Would you buy one? Do you consider it just too much? Have you had comically large servings like this before? I've never been to a place that does huge dishes - they haven't really taken off in the parts of Australia I live in.

Canberra seems to be light years ahead of Brisbane in terms of coffee and chocolate. It's really shithouse up here, bar one or two notable exceptions.

Last time I was in Canberra they were doing construction work near the federal highway / airport. Actually it was like two weeks ago so they probably still are. My GPS kept getting confused because the roads are new and it kept trying to redirect me backwards. I went in a big loop three times because it redirected me, then roadwork redirected me, then Id wind up where I started. It was like a nightmare. I literally could not get out of Canberra because there's literally only ene way out bearing north.

Also it's sad that "foodies" are only attracted to a restaurant with Instagram and buzzfeed potentia?. Woah hoe this place deep fries bacon wrapped Mars bars and serves it on top of salted caramel liquid nitrogen churned gelatto inside of an edible peanut butter cup cookie! Soooo epic!

I wouldnt eat one. If I wanted to chuck a bunch of desserts on a plate I could do that at home - I guess you could say that of any dish, but this is being sold as a unique experience or something instead of as a dish - when really it's neither. It's not unique. It's not food. It's just things in a jar.

Haha, oh man that'd suck. I remember being on a Primary School excursion in Canberra, and we couldn't leave - car crash or some shit. We were waiting for like 2 hours (on top of a five hour trip), and it was cold as balls.

Yeah I hate that shit they pull with insta/buzzfeed, but not as much as having bacon on every god damn meal. Some of the resteraunts have started serving candied bacon with their desserts.

Yeah, I'd buy one. I can't imagine it being a regular thing as they look messy and awkward to eat/drink, are probably expensive and have queues out the door, and the milkshakes are likely way too rich and sickly to have often. But I'd try one as a novelty treat if the queues weren't too bad.

Depends how often you pig out.
If it's once or twice a year, it's perfectly fine for a meal to contain your entire calorific requirement for the day, if it's once every couple of months, 1/2 your calorific intake is fine.
Any more common and it shouldn't go over 1/3rd
