Hispanic here. No they don't. Whenever you see capsaicin penis-measuring it's almost always white boys. I like my food spicy, hotter than most, but that's my business and I don't generally feel the need to share.

And I really don't understand the collectors of "ultra-hot" sauces artificially fortified with capsaicin extract. Or the gimmicky hot wing challenges. I like it hot, but you can reach a point where you can no longer taste your food. I like the heat to linger for a while but if I can no longer taste my food there's no point.

On the milder end (e.g. Dave's original), these sauces are okay. They won't knock your senses out, but some of them taste godawful. Get much hotter than that and you're basically just being a doofus. It's like when white people go to great lengths to look "authentic" using chopsticks for all Asian foods, regardless of whether you're supposed to use chopsticks or not.
