TL;DR terms coming from an alcohol: Hair of the dog works cause drinking a bit more when hungover kickstarts some stupid shit in your liver and you get rid of the hangover faster. I have two different types of hangovers, one of which is extremely vomity and I can only hold down saltines and ginger ale for most of the day.

This and lots of caffeine is the absolute best for the other migraine-ish type.

I lived off these when I traveled through Europe. Best one I had was in Rome, near the U.S. embassy residences. They shaved it off, then grilled it all again on the flattop. I later learned that this 2nd-cook through was primarily to follow government regulations and prevent food poisoning, but fuck it it made it all better.

The meat was so crispy, tender, and juicy. I think it was just a stack of marinated chicken thighs, but I might be wrong. It wasn't lamb, and pork is halal but it was so savory. Mixed with the pickled veggies and sauce... goddamn.

There are so many brown people where I live, they could make a killing if they opened a joint like that here.

Alcohol dehydrates you, I always make sure I drink a few glasses of water before bed when drinking and I never wake up with a hangover, or if I do it's not as bad. Then I drink a glass in the morning.
