This desu, senpai.

If it's common knowledge that's taught in american schools, then it only seems like a system to fuck over tourists a few pennies whenever they can.

In the 1st world, selling a product for more than the RRT without labeling it as such, even with any tax is commonly known as false advertising and illegal.

So you're going to get mad about paying less sales tax in a different country, even though you know you're going to be paying tax anyway?

In Australia we have major supermarket chains who change the price of goods and product offerings between regions and even individual stores. For example, if they face heavy competition in an area, you find lower prices.

There's nothing to point out. I don't understand why this is an argument.

In the United states, in some places, you pay sales tax on things. It's unlisted but everyone has to do it regardless. Everyone has to fucking do it it's not there to make tourists pay more, it's there so the state or county or city can make some money back to spend on shit.

This is truly the exact thing as saying "some European countries drive on the left. this system is designed to trap tourists. nowhere is it listed in car dealerships that you have to drive on the left, yet u have to follow the countries rules."

Uhh American here. Every store has its own set prices and labeling. The company doesnt dictate how much a product is sold for in a store. Its not hard for a store to post the proper price tag accordingly and to include the tax in the apparent price. Stores inabilities to do so usually revolve around their tendency to scam and trick customers into believing they are paying less. They do the same thing with sales. They know what they're doing with labels and advertising. Its all a part of corporate American bullshit.
