Salt and pepper to taste as well obv
if you can't find the willpower to actually attempt it just wrap the niggers in an aluminum foil pouch and bake for 29 minutes at 400F

Okay okay, so what if i wrapped them in foil with a couple tbs of water so they'd steam up THEN i put them on the grill for delicous looking grill marks??

Try this

Shuck partially, don't peel that outer husk completely off. Then rub a little bit of olive oil and your choice of spices/herbs/whatever you want onto the oiled corn. Then wrap the cob back up in the husk and use a bit of wire, or even a strip of foil to tie it closed. Then grill those bad boys RIGHT in the husk and give them a nice char.

Open up the husk after they're cooked 15-20 mintes (turning every 5) and enjoy.

Leave the husk and silk on, soak the cobs in a tub of water for 3-5 minutes. Toss on the grill. Turn a few times so the husk colors evenly. Cook until the husk has charred up fairly well, shouldn't be completely black but should definitely have a good distribution of char.

As it cooks the wet husk will steam the corn inside and the silk and husk should peel back fairly easily. For a cookout in the park or something you can let people peel the husk themselves, and you can use the husk as a handle to eat the corn. Otherwise, you can cut the corn towards the bottom of the cob, just cut last half inch off (still in the husk) and then peel the husk and silk from the bottom.

Drizzle with melted butter and a dash of salt, or you can rub a stick of butter directly on the hot corn.

Add a little rosemary, salt, pepper and the tiniest bit of turneric to the butter before melting it.
