Seasons 1 and 2 of Iron Chef America hold up really well IMO. It was before the bulk of the changes were made, and it was still pretty much just an english version iron chef instead of one that needed an "EXCITING" first course in 15 minutes and a culinary ~CURVEBALL~ at the end like we're a bunch of fucking mooks who need to clap and cheer at the shiny fake drama bullshit.

Iron Chef because it actually focusses on the cooking and has respectable judges like Jeffrey Steingarten. Kitchen Nightmares isn't edited to hell... you must be thinking of the US version. While shitty, it does have its funny moments.
