they disappear quickly, picked up a kitchenaid mixer and been using the dough hook to fix up about ten of these loaves over the last three weeks.

The food pyramid has been changed so many times in the last decade. The grains got significantly smaller since then and fruits/veg are now a majority as they should be. Of course the government isn't in charge of understanding reality, but at least they are getting closer.
