I am a really huge guy, always been big. Slightly over 2 meter tall, haven't checked my weight for years because afraid of it being to heavy. I think I am fat, but not like a typical fat person. More like natural strong, have really good and muscly legs, my calves are almost ripped. Arms are not fat and wobbly, not ripped, but big and strong. It is just my torso that is fat. Stomach not hanging over pants, but it is big and pouting. Wide neck, wide body overall. Can walk long distances, but no real cardio and haven't exercised for seven years, walks now and then, walking like 10-20 km. But as I said, feeling fat, and the stomach situation has had me feeling like a worthless fatass, have not had sex in a couple of months contributed also.

Thought it was time to try something. Started with the no carb-meme about two month ago. Doing pretty good, not really like haven't eaten carbs since then, but while cooking at home I skip typical carbfood, and replacing it with broccoli. First weeks I only ate omelette with diffrent toppings. This also makes my potion sizes smaller, before I could eat like 200-300 grams of pasta or rice with meat or chicken. I think that is the thing that will help out the most, downsizing my potions. I feel better now, but it has probably not done anything yet.

Problem is I cook and prepare high calorie meals, because my ill mother doesn't eat much so she has to get as many calories as possible in a few bites. But because my calorie intake is limited due to my diet, that pretty much means I'm on two meals a day. And I cannot afford to cook separate meals.
I do eat fruits and veggies as snacks (I prefer fruit though) but even that reaches my limit quickly.

I also eat a lot of mixed nuts or cashews. Before I developed this system that was my downfall hey I will go eat a few nuts mmmm that was nice maybe one more and an hour later I have an empty container and have to go to the store. Was 125 kg around a year ago. 98 kg currently. This is my second time dropping a ton of weight as I'd went from 105 to 78 in 2013. I'm 6'2'' so that was quite low in retrospect.

Went abroad for Uni, muh depression and weed and balooned up within a year to 125.

Both times losing weight I ate a primarily carb diet. Lunch will usually be pasta either with tomato sauce or carbonara. For dinner I pretty much eat oven fries every single day. Usually 500-700 grams of potatoes (measured raw). 1 table spoon of oil and baked on super high heat and they're crispy and delicious. Eat meat maybe once or twice a week maybe, usually chicken, steak or a burger.

I bike 20-25 km 5 times a week as well and during my prior weight loss I went up to 40 km. I could do that again now as my endurance is decent considering I'm still flabby and kinda fat but there is really nowhere to go in this shithole I live in so I just do the same route every day.

Going back to Uni for my last semester and kinda scared I'll just fall back into my old eating habits and get fat again.

You can eat fast food without gaining weight. Obviously if you don't consume more calories than you need but it helps if you know what to order. Don't get the combo meals that come with a large fry and soda. Order a sandwich, salad (and go easy on the dressing) or small fries, and water. If you really want soda get a small one. If you're still hungry get a second sandwich. Getting another sandwich would be healthier than having more fries and soda. Ask for extra veg on the sandwiches. It's the fried starchy foods and soda that make it easy to gain weight from fast food, the sandwiches and "main" foods are usually not too bad.
