I just moved to the best city in America but so far the food here is terrible. All the locals seem to be poor hipsters who only eat at whole foods. What is the best food in Denver /ck/? Best restaurants? I'm a particularly big fan of sushi and American food, but my buddy here told me there's no good sushi because of how far inland Denver is, is this true? Does Denver have bad food in general or are there some good places?

Of all the great things Colorado has to offer, good food is not one. I guess just enjoy your burrito covered in green chili. That's about as good as it gets.

Fruition is I think supposed to be the best restaurant in the state, or the city at least. If you like sushi check out the sushi den, or sushi sasa.

Fucking false. Sushi Katsu in Aurora is amazing and Komitodo sushi burrito in LoDo is dope af. Sliceworks and Ian's both have great pizza, partial to sliceworks personally. Snooze has one of the best breakfasts in the fucking country. There are a few Brazilian steakhouses in LoDo worth the money, but be prepared to drop $50+. I like Rodizio. There is also a good gastro pub at Union station but I don't remember the name. It really depends on what you want and how far you're willing to drive around the area. Good Denver food isn't really accessible without a vehicle but it's fucking great if you're willing. Alternatively, just stroll the 16th street mall and find something. One nice thing about Denver is that we're a big al/ck/ city so no matter where you go great local beer and alcohol are available.
