Why were you under the impression that less than 70% of /ck/ works at fast food chains and cheap corporate chain diners and restaurants?

Because I have a news flash for you, AT LEAST 70% of /ck/ works at fast food chains and cheap corporate chain diners and restaurants. If you want actual chefs and cooks to respond to your threads, this really isn't the right place.

I feel this. /ck/ got too big for it's own good. The barrier for entry to make successful threads here is too low since literally everyone eats food. First it was /v/ and now it's /ck/ that's getting the /b/ run-off.

One can observe multiple layers of stupid shit on that subreddit.
There's stuff that only looks stupid but works fine. (e.g. menstruation munchies)
There's stuff that's impractical but can be worked around. (bullshit like a pan on a cuttingboard)
There's stuff that's obviously a joke. (that bloody-mary)
There's shit that makes you think "how am I supposed to eat (on) this". (like those stupidly deep pots or a fucking ipad plate)
There's shit that's actually impossible to eat without dropping half of it. (most of the deserts)

And THEN. Then there's shit like pic related

There used to be pic of a lettuce plant, dirt and all being served with a pair of garden scissors but I can't find it anymore.

People getting all high and mighty when they hear others here work in fast food joints and such is idiotic, because those are mainly young people who haven't even finished their education

And that also lowers the chance that they're living in their own place with a separate kitchen, since they most likely wouldn't be able to pay for it with student salaries. So then you're forced to have the according diet which is usually shit

Correct. But the defrosting mechanism inside most fridges/freezers results in dehydration.

>but it is a side-effect of how modern fridges are built
Dealing with excess moisture is a necessary function for any refrigerator, even more so if it's used in an area with high humidity.

Hot humid air in the kitchen enters the fridge where it is cooled. If the temperature change is sufficiently large, moisture in the air will condense.
If the colder parts of the fridge reach freezing, then said moisture will freeze and gradually decrease energy efficiency of the fridge.
If the fridge doesn't reach freezing anywhere, you'll still have a gradually growing puddle of water somewhere.

Either is bad, and so a modern fridge has features to deal with said problems.
Obviously, the fridge can't know if the moisture is from yesterday's soup or the jungle air.

whoever made the picture is a retart, that's what's up. Lompe is a tortilla-type thing made with potatoes (not potato flour). It tastes like shit unless it's freshly made, so buns are probably more popular overall. I don't know why anyone thought you could wrap anything in a flatbread, much less why they thought norwegians did that.

There's not a lot of American restaurants that are certified to serve Kobe beef, but they're out there. The first was the Wynn in Vegas and they started serving it in early 2014, so ostensibly this picture could have been taken there.

the most triggering part of that image is the constant mis-use of the word "toppings." Like, how the fuck do not realize that TOPPINGS are called TOPPINGS because they go ON TOP of a thing. If the TOP of the sandwich is a piece of bread, then anything underneath that bread is categorically not a topping, it's a FILLING.
