The beef rendang flavor is terrible, but regular, hot n spicy, and bbq chicken are pretty good. love a runny yolk fried egg over the noodles.

It's not that so much as I have to go all the way across town to find Mi Goreng whereas the supermarket a block away sells Nissin/Maruchan.

Also, the Nissin/Maruchan ramen blocks are larger and more filling, so I've grown to prefer my homemade psuedo-Mi Goreng to actual Mi Goreng.

Fun fact. This was the first ramen available in Korea. Since the 1960's. This cartoon was what it was like in the 70's. Ramyeon was about $10 a pack and considered really nice food that you make for your guests.

Also bananas were very rare at the time too. My mom was rich and when she brought a banana to school the poor kids would ask her how it tasted and if they could have some. Lol.

Ive had over 100 ramens from all over the world. Best always depends on my mood. But the 正面 (I think its Maruchan) Miso has great noodles and broth. Samyang Nagasaki had really great mussel meat and broth. And the classic 红烧牛肉 ramen in China are always good. A great surprise is how much I like the Philippines pancit canto brand. Shit noodles, but terrific flavours in the seasonings. But classics like samyang ramyun are my go tos.

>> No.9853561

I hate Maruchan. I always eat Ichiban but I don't have much options for Ramen over in the east coast.

Rule of indomie:
The more expensive it is, the more trash it is.

Seriously, the cheap standard like OP's pic is the best indomie.

Probably honestly. He used to have a lot of friends but after high school he remained in full manchild mode and now all he does is post on Facebook about his dog (who he named Harley Quin) and post quotes from movies. I feel kinda bad for him but he was kind of a dickhead when we were kids so at the same time not really.
