I was planning on doin it on my days off but I had a stage arranged that I couldnt pass up. Good luck to all the other competitors. :]

Its a Tojiro Gyuto, just turned the moonspeak side down to avoid knife based discrimination. I really needed to improve my plating from last round so i hope this works out.

no, the raviolis were boiled then sauteed. The Fish was pan fried and basted constantly

here is an inside pic, lighting isnt as great.
The Ravioli is made with wonton wrappers to make it a bit more crunchy to match the fillet's crispy and flakey texture.

Here is my entry for the round. It is Scallop Ravioli, Mahi Mahi fillet and asparagus with a lemon bechamel.

Good job, looks good. Did you say the basic recipe for the crepe was 1 egg, one cup fo flour? Im gonna make crepes sometime if its that easy.

Im not worried about scores yet anyways, just wanted to try and clear it up. This is just to get my feet wet, and see how people judge, I just saw the thread and made some food with what I had. I look forward to different challenges though. Thanks

Your dish is unusual for breakfast (at least to me) so I marked you up in originality, but down in challenge goals. Kind of a double edged sword. You didnt seem to put it together very well, some kind of bento box-esque design would bring it together better than a few piles of stuff on a plate. Everything does look well cooked though. Decent plate, but you need to improve to go far in the contest. Good luck
