Right now, we're in a tough spot because Nachos has almost no tie with the board and its important the team's roster matches the board's wishes. Also, I personally think it is time to put Nachos to bed, but I would prefer if he go out with a bang, I firmly believe he has one good Cup run left in him. He's staying on the roster for now, but the future is pretty hazy.

Hey all you ro/ck/stars, listen up.

The 4cc is a virtual soccer tournament where the teams are the boards of 4chan and the players are all representative memes or in jokes of the respective board.

One player in particular that needs introduction to any new fans is Nachos, who has traditionally lead our team. Only problem, there is no /ck/ meme related to Nachos. So why is he on the team?

/ck/ was one of the original 16 teams founded to play in the first cup ever in 2011. Things were running pretty slow back then so it ended up that a decent portion of the team was just foods that /ck/ people saw often enough that they were deemed just as meritous. Nachos was one of these players, along with Jalapeno chicken, peanut butter cookies, and rainbow caek.

Thing is, in the Inaguraul cup, Nachos earned a name for himself. /ck/ finished 2nd to /a/ in the first 4cc and Nachos won the "Golden Boot" for most goals throughout the tournament, earning him the moniker "The Original Greatest of All Time (GOAT)"

Since then, Nachos has been the face of /ck/ and its captain, despite not having much to do with the board.

This is just an informative thread for those who follow or want to follow the 4cc, the virtual soccer tournament for the boards of 4chan.

We're doing something different this year where if the board does not have a significant fan following will not be allowed to have a live manager. Its a controversial move, but the fact of the matter is that a league with 55+ teams is getting rough to manage. Based on past participation of co/ck/s, I think we are on the fringe of support, but we have enough.

As for the roster, the new games commissioner is working on getting a poll site up and running in the near future where the boards will be allowed to vote for the players they feel best represents them.

The idea is to change it every tournament. For Spring and Summer it was PBR by popular demand.

We're going to make all the changes mentioned in >>5719741 but there's one thing I want to clear.

Alton Brown has been one of the greatest players, but we don't see him pop up on the board very much anymore. Does anyone object to him being replaced by Jiro?

Its alright friend, this is something I love to explain. Starting on April 4th, our twitch stream (which can be found at implyingrigged.info) will be hosting a soccer tournament based on all the boards of 4chan. /ck/'s first game will be April 5th.

As the manager, I'm in charge of filling in the gaps that the board doesn't tell me need to be done and adhering to deadlines. As well as coming up with /ck/ strategy.

Of course, I'd be willing to take on any help anybody would want to offer, otherwise I do aesthetics and strategic testing all by myself.

Also, as a sort of experiment, we are on the twitter. @4ccFood I want to be as transparent as possible but threads on the boards need to be sparing. 4chan mods can treat this streaming "cooperative" special just because we have 4chan in our name as you can imagine.

One more question, I like using PBR for Al/ck/oholic for this cup, but I would like it if it was a different beer (or any drink really) every cup, based on a consensus we get in these threads.
