I remember last time I want to jack in the box
>middle of nowhere near san diego
>walk in, ask if they have anything vegetarian
>super Mexican employee stares at me confused
>"vegetarian"
>"Oh! Be back in second!"
>talks with his boss for a bit
>comes back, hands me a job application
>leave

Why is the beer in bars so expensive?

>head down, headphones in, looking at phone
>suddenly, ICE
>grab onto railing

>Be watching that same spot later on
>see a guy about to hit it
>"Watch out for th-!"
>slips and hits the ground like charlie brown
>make sure there's no brain damage then lol uncontrollably
Accidents happen, but as long as you've trained your reflexes to ACT and control your decisions in dangerous situations, you should be fine.

Yeah I get where you're coing from. I got caught up in the situation and forgot that schools should be neutral when it comes to any political agenda.

Still though, if I saw some kid stealing food from the cafeteria to feed his starving family, I would turn a blind eye.

This is seriously fucked. Schools should be helping underprivileged families and not fucking them up the ass wit a $500 rod.

"No mistakes, just happy little grease fires"

I'd steal the guy from Weeds' phrase

"That is just TOO good!"

>Portlandia

Also, rice milk is my favorite. Add some cinnamon and sugar, and you've got horchata.

Second place is almond.

just really stoned

I say this either a troll or a viral marketer.

Probably some bored stoned kid in his mid twenties, kind of just sleeping through life, not really giving shit a second thought, it's all kind of just routine now. Smoke some, drink some, have a goal and keep going. It's what life is all about, right? Whatever, he doesn't care enough to figure out what things are all about, just kind of wants to get through it all alive. He's apathetic about most girls, but knows if he doesn't get up off his ass he'll die alone. But, he doesn't really fear death, he does not know death, not well, at least. Sure, possibly a relative or friend is gone, but doesn't realize HIS death, he's oblivious of his own Sword of Damocles that's been there since birth. He'll feel it creeping, and go out scared, horrified. It feels like a forgotten date, but closer and closer it creeps in in the form of some sinkhole in the living room, eventually ruling his mind as the only thought, he never finds acceptance of this final obstacle, he didn't know what to expect, but he cling on to the cliff. Until the day where his grip begins to shuffle free, the dirt cannot hold his weight, he turns to look into the abyss below, swallowing light like a black hole, he falls, flailing, crying, and scared. Going out the way he came in. A testament of how little he's changed from baby to "adult". The unprepared man. The lazy man.

But that's just my opinion.

My thoughts:
>chicken eggs we eat are unfertilized, and get lain anyway, why not eat them?
>cows/goats gotta be milked, why not drink it/use it?
>cooking is an art, meat/dairy can be used as tools to help make great art

However,
>meat is a luxury and killing anything is inherently wrong
>meat packing industry is cruel, inefficient, and unnecessary
>fruits, vegetables, and grains are perfectly sufficient

So, my sentiments:
>going vegan is perfectly fine, but a tad extreme
>meat is fine every once in a while, as long as it's artful
i.e.
>when you're at a fancy restaurant, don't order the vegan meal
>when you're buying groceries, don't get oscar meyer crap

/trv/ler here, heading to Miami tomorrow, actually (well, really Fort Lauderdale, but I plan to visit Miami).

Looking for your best cuban food places. Preferably dives, preferably cheap.

Also, if anyone wants to meet up and hang out, I'm free all week.

Email is in the Email field.

Are there any windows in the kitchen? Is it a separate room, or just blends in with the rest of the apartment?

get a big enough cutting board and you can lay it over the sink.

God dammit moot why didn't you reply to my emails.

Probably not every day you get to meet someone from /trv/.

Also, stacking pots on top of each other saves space, so just get a set that stacks nicely.

You should watch The Big Lebowski. It's a funny movie with lots of Jewish references and subtle little jokes.

Eh, probably too much work and I don't have the time/resources. If there are any good Jewish places anywhere in the south, I'd love to hear about them (or any good restaurants, really).
