They're an energy cheat code. Good for you, full of good carbs, beta-glucans, magnesium and protein (from the milk). Plus they're extremely cheap, a kilogram lasts me a good 3 weeks, which is a hell of a lot cheaper than regular sugar-filled crap.

Kind of.
You just cook milk with oats. Usually I use 40g of oats to ~350ml of whole milk, and stir frequently for 5 minutes.

>>5522278
Then oats will be a godsend. I lift 5 times a week and always eat porridge in the mornings. Don't take my word for it, have a week of eating oats and you'll notice the difference.

Yup. Just cook them with milk for 5 minutes and you've got a delicious breakfast high in protein, fibre and complex carbs. Start eating porridge for a few days and you'll notice the difference in energy.

Cinnamon sounds good.

Buy some oats instead.

High in complex carbohydrates and fibre, extremely cheap (£2 p/kg, and cheaper depending on the brand), plus you add whatever you like to them. Peanut butter, blueberries, chocolate syrup, brown sugar, whatever.

I'm willing to compromise a bit of taste for convenience. So far Clipper Everyday Organic has been my favourite tea, in a bag or otherwise.

>Heat up kettle
>Place teabag in cup
>Pour water into cup
>Add sugar and milk
The whole process takes a few minutes.

High protein and complex carbs.

>Oats for breakfast
>Snack before gym
>Protein shake after gym
>Meat with a carb like Rice or Pasta
>Snacks or leftovers later before bed

Today's meal was 750g of steak, medium.

I have one of those, the coating is generally very good, it's very easy to clean if food does stick.

I just use my flatmate's Brita filter like the pic on the right.

>>5373869
It tastes better when filtered. In plenty of areas in Europe the water tastes crappy.

Bread and peanut butter.

Snack on peanut butter sandwiches in between meals. Either that or up your milk consumption, but switch to full fat milk.

Use your sense of touch. Also, let it sit for 5 minutes at the very minimum before slicing it.

Tom & Jerry taught me that fat sassy black women are terrible pet owners, that Tom was always getting into trouble.

Generally Omelettes are my go-to meal when I have nothing in the fridge. They're extremely versatile, take 5 minutes to cook and have a decent amount of protein. I like to add Sausage and Cheese personally.

>> No.5365350 [View]

Usually porridge and a large cup of tea.

Scotts oats with whole milk, tea with whole milk and two sugars. Usually I throw in some Demerara sugar into the oats to sweeten.

I'd probably say start on 8kg (15-17lbs), do simple exercises to build up your stabiliser muscles, standing curls, hammer curls, dumbbell press, Dumbbell Flyes, Lateral Raise, Front Raises. Use the muscle group specific exercises on Bodybuilding.com

If you have access to a gym, avoid machines, assists and the smith machine.

To the ham planets in this thread:

- Drink water, it suppresses appetite and improves overall health
- Drink coffee/tea, Caffeine is an appetite suppressant
- Never sit still. When sitting in a chair, tap your feet to music or fidget with things.
- Eat lean meat and avoid fatty, non fresh meats.
- Avoid fast food, it's expensive
- Find low fat, high protein meals that you enjoy eating
- Count your calories, until you check there's no way of knowing
- Get /fit/, weightlifting is just as good for losing weight as Cardio, but throw in some short, intense cardio workouts
- Oats. Fucking oats are a godsend. They slowly provide incredible amounts of energy and fill your stomach easily

I'm 75kg, 187cm (165lbs/6'2"), with 10% body fat, and this is the most I've ever weighed.

Couscous is delicious, it practically absorbs any flavour that you pass through it. Dishes that involve lamb or other red meat with plenty of flavour work well with couscous, especially with lots of sauce/stock.
