It can either be a nest of bugs, mold, or a second melon trying to grow (like a naval orange does).
It's fucking disgusting seriously do not even try the rest of the melon. It's extremely rare as in 1 in 10000+
It'll spook you though.

>Does heat play a role?
Heat naturally breaks down the biological structure of cells and thus some of the nutrients (or garbage) within are released or exposed and thus emit smells.
So yes.

It might smell like that raw if you leave it out for a day or two as it'll decompose a bit and thus the structure will get compromised.

If you don't want this to be as common by the way just buy seeded melons, they're much more likely to be pollinated and generally be more stable so they'll have this issue less, and when it has it it'll be smaller.

As long as the watermelon isn't soft inside or has a big black spooky thing growing in it (looks like a tennis ball) then it's fine to eat.
I ate over 200 watermelons, full size, alone, last year. I've seen it all.
Please stop knocking your melons and picking the "big one" it seriously doesn't help at all, at least without other checks you do.

>Cracks on the inside
That's not how the ones in China are.
Those typically come from Mexico and are caused by workers literally throwing these motherfuckers and generally eh-quality seeds from Mexico and Texas.
There's nothing spooky about them, they're usually better quality than ones that don't have it (unless they're soft, which is more likely) as they're more ripe (generally).

>More scientifically
It's caused by improper nitrogen imbalances in the soil (rarely), over-watering/under-watering (usually the former), and the melons not be pollinated at the right time.
The result is a fuck-up in hormonal imbalances that cause the melon to mature quicker (I believe) which then results in the melon advancing past the state of complete solidification and thus a crack is left in the melon which then gets soft and sometimes a little fuzzy due to it's dry-ness as that space is not "part of the melon." It's safe to eat though.

>Once frozen, they smell like sulfur. They don't smell when raw or after reheating.
Chicken has extremely high sulfur content and arsenic, which makes it have that smell.
Seriously stop eating that shit, it may be healthier than pork, but it's not fucking healthy relative to some black beans.

I don't drink coffee at all...I only drink water (pref. distilled) and occasionally juice or plant-milks.
If I don't drink that much my piss isn't clear and my poo sessions degrade in quality. I do eat 4k+ calories a day and live in a warmish climate though.

Eat more fruits, drink more water, eat less fat, and eat less processed foods.
Doing that should help you out.
If you don't know what this means, just eat more potatoes without oil, more oranges and bananas, less packaged shit, less white-bread, and drink tons more water.

t. clean shitting vegan who has dirty shits if he doesn't drink a gallon of water a day

To substitute eggs you should use mashed banana or applesauce if baking and wouldn't mind it being moist, otherwise opt for chia/flax-eggs. I'm not a fan of replacing with yogurt.

>Factually incorrect
But it's not. I've worked on a mom-and-pop farm for awhile. That's not how it goes for cows or goats, or likely any mammal.

>Production levels peak at around 40 to 60 days after calving.[16] The cow is then bred. Production declines steadily afterwards, until, at about 305 days after calving, the cow is 'dried off', and milking ceases. About sixty days later, one year after the birth of her previous calf, a cow will calve again. High production cows are more difficult to breed at a one-year interval. Many farms take the view that 13 or even 14 month cycles are more appropriate for this type of cow.
>Source - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dairy_cattle#Milk_production_levels
So no, they must be impregnated over and over again not for meat, but for milk. The meat is just where the bullshit veal industry comes from. That's the only place for a baby from a dairy cow outside of the same farm in this society.

Oh okay, I translated wrongly.
Sorry.

What (s)he's trying to say is that because you can't prove suffering, it should be allowed for you to slice his head off after forcing him into a gross crowded death-ridden facility (or just put an iron nail in his head) because, hey, who cares, he seems alright. We can't prove he's suffering, so you should be allowed to do it.

N-no, I usually eat 6-10 for breakfast, but I am thinking of increasing it (through lunch) or simply freezing it.
I'm sure someone will steal some bananas anyways.

Depends on the type, in my area about $18-20, $24~ for organic, just at the local grocery stores.
Personally I got non-organic since it's my first case, and because the organic ones here have been funky recently and I know these will be alright.

It's about 11000-12000 calories, so that's extremely cheap, especially when compared to anything out to eat, which may only be 1000-1200 calories for $14~ here, including the white rice you might get.

I think I'll start buying a case a week if this works out well, any extras I could give to my litt- cousins before they go bad. They never buy enough fruit...

That's for a family though. I'm one person, this is my current supply. About 110bananas. I'm a little low on 'cuties though, and have about 8 mangos in the closet. I really need to get some more pomegranates...

You can never have too many bananas.

I still shit once a day because I tell my ass "no," which I should really stop, but every single time it's a huge clean poo that is solid and often crumbles in the toilet, which I heard is actually good.

You reminded me, I also have ezekiel bread or somethin' with some blueberry preserves or a tiny bit of butter if I burnt it instead, or just eat it plain.
I rarely ever have waffles or pancakes though as they're just too much effort for one person when I haven't tried freezing them before, although they're just as easy as ever in my opinion.

>>7164895
>I don't eat breakfast, I have 2 to 3 giant cups of black coffee.
Why not just eat some bananas? They're just as, if not easier, and healthier, and will likely give you lasting energy.

>Don't buy into vegan substitutes for most things ,they're over priced, don't taste like what they're mimicking
I'd disagree with this, gardein's (battered) chicken aren't all that bad. They aren't great for you, or maybe even good (relatively), but taste wise they're the best frozen chicken (or fake chicken) product I've ever had I think, and I used to eat a lot of them, tried 'em all. They're better than real meat at least though.
They're about the same because they have more flavor in my opinion. Instead of eating a plate of chicken, have a plate of potatoes with a few gardein's.
Again, not ideal, and it's not what I typically do, but they aren't really overpriced in comparison nor do they not taste like the real deal in my experience.

Personally I usually eat one of the following - oatmeal, 6-7 bananas (and some clementines usually), 20-30 clementines and a few bananas, Natures Path sunrise maple flavor, banana ice cream (rare, I get sick of it even with some cocoa), and probably some sort of mixed fruit in large quantity.
I just bought my first box of 40lbs of bananas. Got ripped off because I was a dolt and thought it was per pound and not each, so I paid $30 for a case instead of $15-20. Opps.

I'd recommend oats with blueberries, some (blueberry) preserves, and a little coconut sugar is what I prefer.
If you can't tell, what I'd eat cereal with, other than one of the below (likely soymilk) it would be fruit.

>>7164668
There's also oat milk, rice milk, almond milk, cashew milk, hemp milk, etc.
Personally I use soy usually, although I don't use much of it in anything honestly.

Why would I?
Meat isn't good for health, if it was brainless corpses wouldn't it still be bad for health? Disgusting-ness aside, you aren't removing it that way.

Cricket-burgers, there's still no reason at all to eat it, and I doubt it's healthy for humans.
I'd prefer not to have a ridiculous spike in protein, and also I always hated burgers, so I'm sure cricket-burgers wouldn't be great either.

>>7153000
There's literally no need for humans to worry about protein though.
If you don't eat just one or two fruits all day and you get enough calories, you'll get enough protein. I'll often get 100g/day with balanced aminos every day. All I eat is fruits, vegetables (not as many as I should), copious amounts of bread types depending on the meals, pasta, and potatoes if you don't count that as a vegetable.
Who fucking cares if it's an efficient way to get protein when unless we're starting a cricket-farm in space while still being baboon-tier technology, then it's meaningless.

>>7152842
If you want chicken-flavor, Gardein chicken sliders & seven-grain are similar I guess and taste better than any frozen chicken I've ever had, and I was a shitty child who ate lots of it, all the brands I tried.
The beyond meat chicken tasted like tires and poultry seasoning to me. That being said, gardein ones have a crust, I'll be trying their "grilled" sometime though myself I suppose.

>>7152843
>>7152863
I do feel something in my body, and not some "ewww" feeling, although I may have that now though I can't be sure.
But I feel sluggish and tired afterward, greasy (even if it wasn't fried) at my pores and all around, and just generally "bleh."
I'm not sure what it is, because biologically I can't single it out. It reduced when I moved from grilled chicken from fried chicken, then it's vanished (unless I eat extremely high fat and 2000kcal meal) since I went vegan, even when eating 1200kcal of baked potatoes, 400kcal of corn or vegetable of some sort, and somethin' else.

>> No.7135513 [View]

3lb bag of organic potatoes is $2, I eat 2.5lbs of potatoes for dinner most nights. That's $50~ a month or so, tons of nutrients, and around 25000calories, or about 9days worth.
Throw in some pasta or bananas and you can easily make those calories 'lad.

Even easier if you get non-organic.

>>7135365
The only real difference is that vegans don't have access to prepackaged garbage in every single store and we don't have access to horrid egg breakfasts that fit our diet.
They're healthier (vegetarians) compared to average folk because meat is bad as well, and eating more bad is just bad.

If you eat a lot of fancy exotic fruits for your country (like dragonfruit in Texas [USA]) it'll likely be a bit more expensive.
If you just buy amy's (X) frozen shit, then it's about the same.
If you buy raw potatoes, even organic like I do, and cut them up and bake them, it's by far cheaper.

Personally my food costs are $140-160 a month in Texas, and I get all my nutrients and slam in around 3500-4000 calories a day. They used to be around triple that.
That is including eating some gardein chicken thingies, buying a few exotic fruits, and having some processed quick snacks like clif bar & soy milk, Lenny & Larry cookie, etc.
I don't eat, or rather haven't been eating, rice, legumes, nuts, or any of those things people always say are so cheap. They are, I am just not fond of them, especially for ease of cooking: I don't like stir-frying vegetables every day. If you don't like those, you should still be okay.
