It's amazing what I've found out about myself by just trying new foods and new eating habits. For example, I fucking love tomatoes. Never knew I even liked them unless it was some sauce/salsa. Also, I find that if I eat a protein heavy breakfast (say 40g), I have so much energy throughout the day and don't crave the fries at work.

How often do you guys variate what/how you eat?
Anything you guys hated as a kid/teen and can't get enough of now?

the kind of stuff you are supposed to cook on cast iron is supposed to take some of the seasoning with it and leave minimal stuff behind so rinsing is all the cleaning one should need. Plus have you ever taken microbiology? Most everything is killed by high heat for ten minutes which is how you are supposed to dry the cast iron after rinsing.

If you are still over germaphobic about it just use a simple oil only seasoning that you can scrub and scrub and scrub and it still won't need to be reseasoned more than like once a year.

lol I got excited
My dad had a gf once who was super into gardening and she did all this complicated shit like test the pH and had an uber complicated greenhouse for temp and humidity control.
She never even ate any of it. I don't get why she did it.

you can "wash" cast iron with straight water and rag/scritchy, but you should never introduce soap. A cast iron pan is seasoned and you cannot use soap or really scritch it too hard without removing it. That seasoning is why cast iron is o awesome to cook on. It also keeps it from rusting.
