How do you guys apply for work? Let's say there's a building being built near me and I want to place a bid for a job. I've been going in and asking for supervisors and giving my card out, but everyone seems to have someone already. A lot of them won't even take my card. I've applied online as well do I never hear back from the GCs. I have insurance, references, etc. before someone mentions it.

how do I make armor guys, I got a drill and angle grinder, might get a welder after a bunch of saving if I need it. I have no experience (except with making a chainmail coin pouch). the kind of armor i'm wanting will have a chestplate that's split up into several different plates (to look cool and to have flexibility), with some segments with chainmail, shoulders segmented aswell, arm pieces with a bit of plates (segmented) and some segments chainmail, leg pieces just about the same, helmet will be a visored bascinet, for like the kind of skirt looking part around the waste just segments of steel going around. after a while i'll start posting progress pictures, but for now I need help guys, I need this armor to be specific, I need to know what other tools I need, what type of steel I should use (preferably lightweight and or easy to cut) and what precautions to take. please help me.

Juicing is counterproductive, at least for anything edible enough to be eaten whole. If you want to drink your food, put the whole thing in a high speed blender, a real one like a Vitamix, Blendtec, or one of those clones with a chinese-built motor. And use hearing protection.
