1865407 No.1865407 [Reply] [Original]

So I'm looking for a bed that looks like pic related, two halving joints mounted perpendicular on four posts, with 2x4's with halving joints instead of those cheap 1x3 bed slats.

I was hoping I could buy a kit and just put it together like lincoln logs, but I can't find any. My back is messed up, my neighbor is a carpenter but hes been pretty busy and I'm not sure he has the finishing skills to sand and varnish the wood and build a headboard.

You know where I can buy a kit like this without paying an arm and a leg?

just put the bedframe on the floor, then put the matress on top of the bedrame, now you have a bed.

Are you a couple of asian floor sleeping morons? ALL modern western bed design minimizes hard lateral extrusions because people invariably hit themselves on it. Are you fags such virgins that you cant imagine the pain of fucking your girl (or guy in YOUR case) off the bed and riding them as they scrape across this retarded outcropping? thats not really a problem. I more just want to be able to pack it up and assemble it real easy and not have to disassemble the frame hardware screws. I'm sure you could make a frame like this without the extrusions that relies on the same principle.

I could stand to lose 20 pounds. I'm 6'5" and barrel chested. even at my peak I'm a bear. It's not the weight that counts. It's how hard your thrusting that determines your needs. Its diy laminated ply. The outer rails have a 2x6 core to provide better bite for the accessories mounts.

Only thing left is to build the main accessory module. They mounts under the 4 waffles, giving me 16 constant tension, auto retracting ropes.

The modules have nothing to do with the structure, they're for playtime. Each module allows for one rope to extend five feet, or two ropes at 2.5 feet. Each pair is actually a single rope so pulling one yanks the other independently of the tension aspect. Having 4 on each of the 4 sides allows flexibility in additive and counterbalanced loads, thus allowing complex tie down arrangements. (Think knees towards head of bed and feet towards foot, while allowing spread force to be applied when she tugs her arms in. The system is good so there is a constant pull instead of tightness at a single length, so I dont have to constantly adjust the tires, and the ropes you actually see can be soft cotton, while the PU cords in the module do the pulling. Also easy clean up. Disconnect and let go, and you'll never know it's there till you need it again.

I have something along the lines of OP's frame. Except the mattress platform sits higher, level with the frame rails. The mattress sits on top of the whole thing instead of down inside it. Also, the frame is a few inches smaller than the mattress, so the mattress overhangs it and is the only thing I hit with my shins late at night.

Massive overkill.

I made a bed frame for a high school friend whose nickname was "520" as in 5' 20' tall.

He always slept on a foam pad on a plywood platform because no mattress was large enough.

So I made him one you can put together and take apart with just one Allen key and the other were tusk tenons
