The only good thing to do is to wear a re-usable mask.

Preferably one made out of 100% cotton, which is a natural ingredient and is biodegradable. Once the mask rips or you have no use, you can toss it.

Ofcourse the polyester shit isn’t.

Think about the logistics of having to transport a recyclable or biodegrade mask, it’s much more efficient to reuse one.

As with all things, it is better to be reusable that bio-degradable. I have a 3 stage mask that is washed once a week and should last about a year, after that it can be tossed and in the process save about 300 disposable masks. Even if the disposable ones were biodegradable the raw effort to make them would produce more trash.
