My guess is it's something he borrowed from Anita Pallenberg, 'cos it's known that she and Marianne Faithfull dressed the early Stones like lifesize China dolls. And not just Brian and Mick either, but evidently all of them. Supposedly they were kind of the hidden hand behind how fucking wild and sharp-looking ALL of those guys were in their early days. Anyway, it just looks like an ordinary woman's oversize jumper, and probably not very hard to find second-hand. It doesn't appear to be angora or anything
