Bomb-chuckers are the reality of punk rock's music-based posturing. So, of course this appeals to disenfranchised and embittered populations, but it's not uniforms and haircuts. It's standing against evil, as underdogs, all of the same stripe and society. It's finding society in a society you find yourself alien in.
