I was in Davao just a few weeks ago and I just dressed in a mix of French Riviera style and prep. Try things like poplin shirts with rolled up sleeves and light airy trousers(mine are tencel). Though you will have to accept there are occasions when you should dress like a regular person (or as regular as a towering white man can dress). Interestingly I've learned of a denim/heritage workwear brand based in Makati named Léon Denim, and based off their posts I'm assumingthese guys just dress like that day to day. Really interesting that there are people in the Philippines that wear American workwear and even have their own(apparently good) brand. Really just be yourself, and if looking "fancy" is yourself then do it.
