I think she doesn't 100% of a handle on Japanese fashion.

For example she sizes up on the 7/8 pants, the complains that the length is the same as the normal pants. Well, yes, because you sized up the length increased.

Asia has different cuts to the west. Shorter hems are normal there. Ankles and wrists are a thing. It felt a bit strange that she didn't acknowledge that this is has been the dominant style for what, 10 years? More?

Same thing with boxy cuts. Maybe she is more interested in traditional western fashion.

Her overview she makes it a lot more clear that she is just talking about her preferences and gives some fitting advice which is a lot better than the rest of the video.

I'm not sure that anyone thinks uniqlo is high quality anyway considering they are cheap mall tier.

I like the relaxed look of this pant and how the leg is cut above the ankle.

I think Yohji does pants that are cut like these, but are there other options that don't cost $400? Preferably lightweight linen material for summer.

I wear inoffensive palewave because it complements my skin tone in general. I've found most people praise my dress sense. It works for me, I don't care if the trend is dead because nobody in my area even knew about it or attempted it. I don't make myself stand out incredibly. I like stuff such as pic related.
