2/2 how I'd usually style my hair


I have coarse, thick hair.

Id like to ask a few questions:
1) Are their any other haircuts I can pull off with my hair texture / face?

2) my routine is tough since my hair won't look good with a wax or gel in it. I go home, I sleep, wake up wash my gel out with plain water, re-style. I try not to wash my hair with shampoo every day, but it seems like every other day is necessary for me because of smell and itch. I tend to get a dry scalp and flakes on the second day mostly, sometimes on the first. And it's probably because I do a water rinse of my product but not sure what to do.

Any recommendations for my regime?
