1. find a style. lurk more, develop a style, try not to get hyped and purchase loads of techwear in one sitting after going through an inspo album, because chances are you'll be into something else next week.

2. in the meantime start looking into what fits you well. go around a few shops, try a few pairs of jeans, check the sizing on them. yours currently look pretty thin, which is why they stack strangely. that's generally poor quality denim. they may be a bit baggy too, although that could just be the strange stacks. the length seems good. that means you got the inseam right, but the style isn't looking good. you could do with having them rise a little higher. thats length between your crotch and the top of the trousers. they seem to be a low rise style, which is a little ugly.

3. There's nothing wrong with buying basics either. You may grow out of the style of a certain designer, but you'll never find yourself throwing out nicely fitting plain tees. Basics include block colour tee-shirts, plain black jeans, low, plain white trainers.
Other items such as black/brown boots, light coloured trousers or polo shirts are also very easy to use in an outfit, but they aren't AS straightforward to throw-together as the items stated above.

4. Work your way up in pricing. no matter how many times people here tell you you're scum for not spending $600 on a jacket, it's not a clever thing to do unless you're certain you wanna drop that sort of money. you may already be rather well off, in which case you can afford to be a bit less particular about expensive pieces, but this still applies.

To rate your outfit - it's pretty safe, which isn't a bad thing. pairing of the white T with the blue jeans is classic, and the green jacket is inoffensive, although you could put it to better use with different trousers. the shoes don't really go, and you'd be better going with white ones to match the light palette.
