What should I do? Being 19 looking like 16 with a McDonald's-logo hairline. Grow it out, buzz it? HY haircut?
Currently using clay and powder, but it turns useless after about 30mins. I've never used pomade, maybe give it a shot?

Kiehl's avocado hair pak after shampooing. Follow directions. Leave it in for 30 minutes. Do it once a week.

Rest of week, no poo, just rinse with water or use a conditioner. If you must poo, again, hair pak after. Or at least use conditioner. Don't poo more than twice a week.

Also, brush your hair once in awhile when it's not wet. Will distribute oil to tips and weed out weak hair. You won't lose nearly as much when you wash your hair if you brush regularly.

I wanna grow it out, but there's this awkward in-between phase I'm in right now. Hair's starting to curl up on the sides and in the back. Let the wet hair group together into thick "strands" (pic related) or something and push them up so they curl up. You can do this with a towel and it will dry the hair too. But don't separate the hair. Then just let it dry without touching it too much and you should end up with that. My friend with straight/wavy kinda thick hair does this to get curls or something and it works great.

How do you deal with frizzy hair? For years it seems no matter how long or short my hair is it instantly frizzes up as soon as it dries. The thing is that I have to shampoo/condition it every day. My hair is very unmanageable. To the point to where my I can go to sleep looking like a 7/10 and wake up a 4/10 cause my hair gets so fucked. I tried just doing the rinse with water but then my hair looks "off". I am 2/5th black mixed with white and others and I got my dad's curly hair. When I look back at my pictures when I was around 11 my hair had a nice shine to it and wasn't frizzy at all. But now that I am 23 the frizzies just kill it. I mean some days it looks great but rarely. I also figured out why the hell I kept having flakes. Apparently I wasn't washing all the conditioner out of my hair which was causing inching and flaking. have you ever been in a shower with a grill? everytime they shampoo there are strands that clog up at the drain, just from breakage and running their hands through wet hair. dont get paranoid just yet- longer hair makes you notice these strands more and gives you a false impression sometimes. but yeah, listen to others and keep getting your sides and back cut while the top grows out longer and longer until it feels good to you. maybe have the barber trim dead ends from the top every two months or so
