Fair point on being busy, then again, they offer a lot of adjustability for the fitting, depending on whether you tuck or blouse your pants (adjust the laces).

Asian-made DMs nowadays end up losing the heel of the sole within 6 months, and don't be surprised if the the sole around the balls go, too. They tend to slip in snow/ice, too. Those are Rangers from EMP right? I was also thinking of copping a pair, they seem to get dope reviews due to their durability, plus i already have huge calves and the steel-toes seem like a decent addition.

But yeah, i've seen people wear those in concerts and on the street, usually people say that a size down or size up will work fine, but you should probably be able to return them if they don't feel good even with wool-socks or boot-socks. Idk, that's just my two cents on the issue.

i really like these guidi hikers, much more than any of their backzips. i've mostly been wearing rick these days and think these would fit oddly well since they're so bulky. i don't have any rick shoes though, so might get some creepers instead.

Anyone have experience reselling boots? My brother-in-law works at Red Wing and is offering to sell me factory seconds, and I'm just wondering if there's a market for reselling boots like there is for reselling sneakers.

Interested in hawkins/astronaut styled boots, solovair offers them in 6 and 11 eyelets and in oxblood or black, I think I'm leaning towards black, although not sure on the eyelets, anybody had any experience with astronaut boots?

If you mean the "flavor of the year" tripe that most women enjoy wearing because it makes them like all the rest, then maybe not, but good boots for women can be found, as long as you're willing to pay the price.
