I think it could be entirely possible to find good brown prep. Possibly when India was a British colony early forms of what would evolve to become a prep style could be found. Not the distinct brands or prices you'll find primarily in the evolved American prep. But there must surely be a good cross over of cuts and fits that could be interpreted as preppy.

Just got a Brooks brothers slim fit performance polo.

Super fucking comfortable (Pima Cotton). A little thin for something not marked as summer weight or lightweight, but given that it is pima cotton it should hold up fine.

I'm thinking about getting a Lacoste, but I keep hearing about quality decline. My 10+ year old polos are thick and beefy as fuck and have a good cut - almost like an indestructible suit of armor. So if they are similar it would be great. They have some of the best green options + MoP buttons.
