I am looking to purchase a derby shoe that can be semi-formal. I'm open to 'high fashion' derbies- CP, Lanvin, Prada even perhaps? As long as they last me a long time, quality-wise.

Anyone got any suggestions?

I wast thinking the CPs pictured, as the derby shine crease like crazy, but something seems off about them

ive had varied experience; the normal 1461's killed me for weeks to the point i gave in and ebayed them. the 1461 mono were comfy out of the box. Same size, and there aint much difference in build (perhaps the monos are little softer in the heel but not much). Go figure.
