Calone is another chemical compound you might want to check out. It's used in high concentration in L'Eau D'Issey, Cool Water and Aqua di Gio to name some well-known scents. BV definitely opens like grey vetiver, but it seems kinda soupy if you know what I mean.

Tzora had a great green opening, drys to be a bit like TdH or Guerlain L'eau Boise... all three of which give me a bandaid-y barbershop vibe.

Molecule 01 is mysterious. Hardly smell it up close, but I I was getting whiffs of the paper from a few feet away. Super familiar, almost pheromonic. I think I'm going to like it.

I've sampled the entire Zoologist line over the past couple of days and I'm honestly very disappointed. Nothing smells bad, but most of it is very generic and mass-appealing designer-esque stuff. All but a few remind me of fragrances I've tried before and are very one-dimensional. Nothing inherently wrong with that, I just think they've built up an image and a reputation for something else.

What's your budget like? Pineapple Vintage Intense is a great Aventus clone; In comparison to PVI, CDNI has a weird harshness to it. It's ~100$/100ml straight from Parfums Vintage, but well worth it imo, and still far better than Aventus' 425/100ml from Creed.

quality barbershop fragrance imo. I agree with the TdH comparisons, but whereas TdH reacted really poorly on me, this is pretty nice. I am yet to smell Anat Fritz Tzora on my skin, but I am sensing some similarities there as well. So I wouldn't say its unique.

While there is strong lime, I wouldn't describe it as sour. I haven't really been able to pick out a lot of individual notes, like mint and grass, but I like it.

No, most houses make it quite impossible to remove the atomiser to avoid tampering. As far as I know only Serge Lutens lets you remove to allow you to install a splash or sprayer. You'll have to spray directly into your atomiser which is what I do. Align the hole with your finger, and spray away. It's good exercise for your index finger/thumb.

I recently bought some ADG Profumo (special blend of that matters) and have been getting more compliments than I have ever received in my life. Today I have received 4 female compliments and 1 male. Yeah , I do. I'm glad someone finally started to talk about the brand here, everything I've smelled from them is simply amazing. Personally I own Graphite and it's a super strong stuff, really beastmode. They're generally cold weather scents and one spray should be enough most of the times so don't over do it, I sprayed 3 times when I bought Graphite and the projection was extremely powerful throughout the day. One of the best packagings i've seen too , overall Mad et Len is a marvellous under the radar brand, can't recommend enough.

Give the pineapple vintage sample pack a go. It's only like fifteen bucks, and you basically get 7 ml of aventus clone. I can't speak to CDNI but I wasn't impressed by aventus until I tried PV. Performs better on my skin and is more consistent than how many different batches of aventus exist. Poor fags complain that the price is a third of aventus but for me the performance was better and I could pick exactly what I wanted (intense), so it works itself out. Also I got it on sale.

Otherwise a small 30 or 50 ml split isn't all that expensive

Pure Malt and Pure Havane are the usual recs. Both are cold weather scents though. Amazing longevity for the price, really yummy smelling too.

I can't comment on it personally, but I hear kryptomint is a good mint heavy frag. I've only tried ultra zest, so if it's anything like that (and most people say they are similar), then it's also a pretty unique take on a summer frag. Might also have some hidden gems floating around but those are the usual ones i see recommended

EDPs are the strongest in terms of projection. They are the powerhouses of the perfume world.

Extraits or Pure parfums are more concentrated and have a lower alcohol concentration and therefore lower projection but higher tenacity.
