I have a really nice pair of boots with some more subtle brogueing from Loake that are quite nice. The pair I use for my day wear kilt outfit are from Barbour which I'm very happy with but the pair of boots I have from them - no idea if they still make them or not - are the most comfy ones I have. It may be a little on the poser side but Jesus, I could walk from Alnwick to Inverness in them without a complaint.
