I have a chance to buy a Perfecto type jacket that's in my exact measurements, but is this shit actually wearable?

I feel like it would dictate my entire aesthetic, which might be okay, since I want to try something... riskier. But at the same time I've never seen anyone wearing one of these in real life.
Possibly relevant: the jacket I'm looking at has no belt and seems to be in softer leather.

get it, wear it with your sweatpants/pajamas around the house till it no longer feels like a big deal and is nicely worn in and then it won't feel like such a statement piece

The belt on this kind of jacket is a huge pain in the ass, if it ain't buckled it will slide around in the loops and the weight of the buckle will pull the belt out of the loops
It will look better the more you wear it though
It takes time to really break one in

i wear a double rider all the time. i have a white one that my dad got in highschool with a zip-out fur liner and a black one i bought in an ebay auction.
just depends on how you wear it.
don’t wear anything too long underneath it, riders are cropped at the waist and will make your shirt look like a dress if it’s too long. try tucking, maybe.
i hate how black riders look with any color pants but black as well, but that’s just me.
as long as you aren’t a meek manlet or something it’ll look fine. great for winter.
