They're carpe diem s52m in cordovan, carpe diem doesn't exist anymore but sometimes you can find them on grailed and the SZ classifieds.

A1923 makes similar boots, you can also look for some layer_zero boots or even ma+, there's also m_moriabc made by the same person who founded cdiem.

Yeah I agree, the thick round laces look a lot better than the flat ones do. They also look like they might be waxed? Its a nice detail for sure. I thought about asking about them, but I don't live in Germany so where ever he got them would be inconvenient to me.

They somehow feel too large, like there is too much space in the front. I used a table that tells you the shoe size you need depending on foot length of the shoe. My feet are much shorter than the foot length of the shoes I bought. Dunno if I fucked up. If I used my actual foot length I would have had to size down like 4000000 sizes. Still comfy though
