EU doesn't have limited milsurp. UK assault boots look really nice, but the soles seem to be utterly bad. Look at like older Austrian or German bundeswehr before model 2k became the norm. 2k is a great boot, but not very fa.
Some Belgian army boots seems fine as well, and if you're into buckled boots look at the French.
I would stay away from repro brands like rotcho. They look nice but are pure garbage. I don't get why Kanye wear them when Belleville, wellco and Danner is so easily obtained in the states. Fucking people just picking the first thing that looks good on amazon.

i dont always dress this classy but when i do i do it right, and that means representing my inner convictions* well as making my over all ensemble work holistically. how well would combat boots compliment this style i rock?

* im a civic nationalist from a legally immigrated muslim family studying media at a liberal university in a predominantly muslim area of london, i believe race realism is a necessary component of the multi faceted issue of understanding and adapting to our strengths and weaknesses as a society and as individuals. i'd say that we hurt the very people we are trying to help by misrepresenting the statistically significant effect that our biological origins have on our assets and abilities.

The answer you seek isn't the answer you want. Every fucking fast fashion female label/brand/retailer sells female combats. They've been a trendy part of womenswear for years. Apart from ones with weird little feminine details most are pretty masculine. It's just about how you style them.

this style of boot has been fashionable in mainstream culture for decades now and fashion generally diverges from function in details

most people here wearing combat boots aren't worried about the laces catching on their airplane control stick as they exit the cockpit of their F-14 Tomcat, nor are they worried about lacing their boots as fast as possible because the gooks might be coming over the next hill any moment

full grain or nothing, top grain (the kind that boot is made of) looks like plastic and takes a long, long time to look somewhat decent, and it still will never look as good as topgrain after a few months of wear.
Here's an aged pair of Dr Martens made with top grain leather, see how even though they have clearly been used a lot, it still looks really stiff and plasticy and shiney?
Top grain leather, in my opinion is used for boots that the wearer wants to keep pristine and high polish, like how a soldier would keep his parade footwear or something. They're basically incapable of getting that soft cloth-like feel and look that aged full-grain gets

Sure, top grain is really rigid and stiff. Albeit less comfortable from my experience but that hard quality does go a long way in terms of ankle support, you're right. But from an aesthetic standpoint for a consumer product someone is going t owear on the street, I'd prefer full grain for that softeness and patina capability

>>11689318
You're not listening to what I'm saying at all
>Top-grain leather (the most common type in high-end leather products) is the second-highest quality. It has had the "split" layer separated away, making it thinner and more pliable than full-grain. Its surface has been sanded and a finish coat added, which produces a colder, plastic feel with less breathability, and it does not develop a natural patina. It is typically less expensive and has greater stain resistance than full-grain leather if the finish remains unbroken.
- en.wikipedia/wiki/leather

I'm not sure what you're even trying to argue. All I'm saying is that top grain is stiffer and can never get that aged boot look as well as full grain leather can.

probably because most consumers don't know shit about leather everyone thinks that "genuine leather" simply means that the product is actual leather when in reality genuine leather is a low grade of leather. So I don't think a lot of companies are really under pressure to properly label what process/grade their leather has gone through.
so it's safe to assume that any leather that is smooth as marble as top grain, it's just not really possible for unsanded leather to be that smooth, and it's the sanding that makes it considered top grain

Where can I find these boots?

>> No.11699323

>>11695955
I went up a whole size and lengthwise I don't feel like I could take them smaller. Especially not if you want to wear thick socks in them.
Mine were a blind buy too (Belgium here), but I'm really glad I went with the general advice of going up one that I read with most sellers.

Like mentioned earlier, there's a lot of leeway in the width as the material of the boots allows for it to be tightened a lot or barely at all and still enclosing your feet really well.

Ask the place you want to buy them from to measure the insole length of the size you usually take and that from half up and one up. If they give you that you can just compare it to a pair you got right now. Width-wise you should be fine either way.

Are the Bundeswehr DMS boots any good?
In comparison to other combat boots like the Haix P6 the sole is much thinner. Some people report to develop problems like hurtin feet or pain in the joints after longer times of wear because of that. True?
