Could be depression, bipolarism, can't tell for sure. Listening to music, playing on the guitar, and reading helps so far. Don't really have friends that are into my kind of things. on the upper inner from side, behind the left pocket.

sew the middle finger on the shoulder
the fly on the left side shoulder, above whatever is on there.

the flash under the corporal insignia (is it corporal, /k/uys?)

I would get a safety pit and put on it a small metal skull jewel and use the thing on the zipper on the neck.

I would get a white marker and make a crossed white circle on the back
then crossed again

Dude, those patches are not going to look good on that jacket. It's not a very good jacket for patches. More importantly, frankly, the patches you picked aren't going to look good on any jacket.

With patches there's two ways to go. One, if you actually are into music, you can display your taste, and association with a subculture, with a good selection. Let's be real, you ain't doing that. Two, you can go eclectic and loudly proclaim your disdain for genre, subculture, and all that my-band-is-more-underground-than-yours elitist bullshit. The problem is you're awkwardly sandwiched in between both styles. You're all over the place, you've got various metal subgenres, alt rock (all popular and well-known bands) and then fucking Nirvana and Foo Fighters. I don't get the impression that you're actually part of a subculture and I also can tell you're not just a guy who's super into all kinds of music, haters be damned. Your selection really does say, I'm an angsty 20-year-old. It's a bad look.

I'm not trying to shit on you, I made worse fashion choices in my late teens/early 20s. But I'm telling you, don't put those patches on that jacket, it will look bad. Or, you know, ignore me, it's not like your life ends if you look stupid at age 20.

that you can also use patches that have nothing to do with music - there are a lot of stores that sell really interesting ones. You can try to picture a kind of archetype in a sense, and then make a montage of it with some symbolic ornamentation.

Like how Gucci used to do with those lions and rainbows.

You can also apply bells and various things as well as pyramids and spikes.

some people as of later use a lot of religious thematic. I once saw a light denim jacket with a illustration from the vedas on it's whole back. the picture was framed with bells (and I've added red threads). really lovely

just looks like it needs some. you could do whatever band name or design you wanted. i took an art textile course at school, pic related is a piece i made.

for a start, you probably want to buy some embroidery thread and a hoop to keep your fabric taut. learn and practise different stitches to see the texture. i tend to split the thread into 2 or 3 strands instead of the full 6 because it looks less chunky.
its nice to do, and at the end you made something yourself.

probably about 4 hours if i put it all together. it was for my art project, so i just did it all the time. took the photograph myself and then traced it using carbon paper. for the steps i used some green and brown strands to make a blend of colours.
pic related is what happens when you dont use an embroidery hoop, so you would obviously need one for any patches.
