Always shave your hair down, hair at the sides is what creates the image of oldness, shaving it down removes that effect.

Getting buff will help, wear well fitting clothes, you can't get away with loose stuff when bald or you look like a cancer victim, you need to look healthy.

DHT is a pretty potent male hormone. I wouldn't fuck with it unless I was certain of what the effects would be. And given that researchers are just now, decades later, finding out the effects hormonal birth control are having on women, I'd strongly suggest not drastically reducing your DHT levels.

finasteride doesnt target the scalp, it cripples your ENTIRE body's ability to produce DHT. Your statement is precisely wrong.
And yes, your body makes less DHT under normal circumstances (compared to testosterone) because DHT is 10x more potent than testosterone.

If you're bald and fit but still want hair, I highly recommend scalp micropigmentation done by a professional clinic which will give you the buzz cut look with a good hairline. Search the term on youtube and see the amazing results many people have had. No drugs are required, and if you still have some natural hair left on the top of your head, your hair will still have the "3D" natural look even with the SMP. My brother had it done and it looks incredible; no one thinks of it as anything other than real hair. But use some common sense when choosing a hairline; you want something that's age appropriate and not so sharp looking than you end up with the hairline of a 5-year-old boy.
