I have the Kanken 17" laptop backpack in lake ridge color or whatever. Sweet backpack but not as practical as you think it'd be. It has space for all my shit, is waterproof, but there's very poor compartmentalization. I get compliments on it and I enjoy the no frills aesthetic. It's not exceedingly padded (one of the reasons why I purchased it) so consider that if you like having a lot of support on your shoulders.

>> No.13631655

It's bretty good. The actual colour is unfortunately closer to green, and mine has no reinforcement at the bottom. It could use some bck stabilizer, because it's basically a bag with straps (it is meant to be combined with Bundeswehr sleeping pad, which folds into rectangular plain and gets inserted into inner sleeve). It also suffers from clunky and awkwards straps, making it difficult for instant adjustment. It's pretty big for a casual pack, so it's perfect for carry-a-ton-of-stuff-with-you people like me. I use it primarly as a bike purse, cause it endures a lot of field abuse (it has a waterproof coating inside)

All in all, it's a solid pack, which gives you a nice milspo vibe without making you seem like complete autist. If it looked exactly like in the picture it would have been perfect.

If you want organization, I'd go with the Stadt. Super Booty doesn't have much in the way of internal organization, so that might be a key factor in your decision. I'd probably say go with the Stadt, but if you need those extra 7 liters and are planning on just dumping larger items in there, the Super Booty would be fine, and it does have the one front pocket if you don't have too many smaller things.
Just figure out what you're planning on carrying most days and judge it based on that, honestly. Either one is a good choice.
