This is why Seiko has that 'house style' https://wornandwound.com/art-time-taro-tanaka-seikos-grammar-design/

It makes Seiko one of the few large scale watch manufacturers with a consistent house style that has existed since before the quartz revolution, by the way.

Focal points of a camera can make watches look 1.25 times the size they really are and can make it look like the lugs over hang when in reality they don't.
If that image is true to what you see with your own eyes than the watch is too large for you.

Thanks for your opinion bros. I'm still not sure. The watch is supposed to be 42mm but I think it wears smaller than usual. My other watches are 40mm or less. This one costs a shitload of money too, so I don't want to spend it on a watch I'll think is too big after a while.

At the end of the day it really comes down to if you feel it's too big, it is hard to tell from photos to be honest but it looks close to fitting well so likely looks pretty good in real life. iirc the 42 is including the crown guards so the watch does wear smaller than 42 if that helps

>> No.13727499

If you don't service a watch you expose it to a lot of unnecessary wear on the movement. The lubricants used have a shelf life and things like gaskets need to be changed regularly in order to maintain the integrity of the seal.
