I'm going to kill whoever invented the slim fit meme. I need a sport coat for a business trip (eurofag) and everything sub 200 eurodollars is a slim fitted, ass hanging, thin lapel having, polyester filled, fuse glued fuck fest.

>le tighter it fits to you the better the fit xD

You fucking drones ruin everything, I can't even find a decent jacket below 200 euros anymore, even more traditional brands have bent their ass over to the slim fit meme just to save themselves from the zara menace. That said, anyone who can recommend me a brand in Europe that makes decent suit jackets and blazers under 200€ would be greatly appreciated. Before you say it, yes I do thrift. Also, great job compiling all those links OP.

Suitsupply patterns are rather bad but bearable, try them.

Or else, Hong Kong, Korea, even Japan manage to do sub 200 euro non-fused non-slim fit 100% wool jackets, visit us sometimes.

Suitsupply makes a jacket you want, for an affordable price of 550 euro. Offline clearance sales of East Asia can also give you a 200 euro half-canvassed jacket(55000 yen RRP and such) but I don't think you can go there.

Massimo Dutti, Zara's brother, make a slim fit jacket 169~199 euro. This is one of the most inexpensive decent jacket in Europe, since they are a fast fashion company with cheap prices.

M&S has a 120 gbp jacket. I recommend this, they are huge and made from nice fabrics.
H&M has a 70 euro jacket, for the reference.

Also, wearing a regular fit jacket in 20s make you look really bad, unless you wear a suit or master the fit of 1930s.

Hope this helps.

>wondering what is going on with her shoes
>wait, has she put a penny in her penny loafers?
>mfw I never realised this
'The term penny loafer has uncertain beginnings. One explanation is when American prep school students in the 1950s, wishing to make a fashion statement, took to inserting a penny into the diamond-shaped slit on their Weejuns. Another theory is that two pennies could be slipped into the slit, enough money to make an emergency phone call in the 1930s. Either way, the name penny loafer came to be applied to this style of slip-on and has since stuck. The practice continues, especially among those who remain committed to a classic and refined but still scholarly appearance, such as lawyers.'

Here's a pic of the jacket, it's from a greek store called Tsitsigias. A quick google search will probably be enough. Their english on the site are a bit wonky so I'll provide some details. It has no padding on the shoulders, the collar sits high and the lapels are wide (hard to tell from the photo), it's half lined, slight excess of fabric at the top of the sleeves (spalla camicia), slanted chest pocket, 2 buttons (a 3/2 would be dynamite but oh well), 2 patch pockets and two vents on the back. The buttonholes on the sleeves are fixed at 2/4. The site indicates that the fabric's a wool/cotton mix but doesn't specify the details. It's also sewn in Naples. Cheers.

Jacket's here, here's the fit closed and open. Some info, it's 49% wool %49 cotton and 2% elastane (could live w/out the last one but it's not a deal breaker). The fabric looks wonderful and the 3/2 is sweet. The lapel gorge seems way too low for my taste but that is ultimately up to you. I find that lapels, the gorge and the collar can either make or break a jacket. Yeah, 100% derby and not an oxford. Trickers and Alfred Sargent tend to make much chunkier shoes/lasts as well which would work more casually, much more so than a slightly brogued pair of oxfords from C&G or Carmina or similar.

Not a fan of longwings, think they look pretty odd desu, and no idea why people are thinking brogues are more formal than plain/cap toe. Weird.

It depends a bit on the country. Above 22€ you have 21%, and above 150€ 23.5%. But then sometimes you have an extra tax from Correos (national post service), that is usually 14-18€.

That kjp fleece would probably cost me: 156.93€ of fleece + 26-52€ of transport + 36.66€ of customs = 219.59-245.59€ (add 14-18€ extra if I have bad luck and Correos smashes me). Its insane, and if I choose a bad size or doesnt fit properly I am fucked

Take a look at Sebago, they make a penny loafer based on their boat shoes sole. I used one pair for 4-5 years (I removed them from my wardrone because I scratched them too much in some silly accidents), they were comfortable since they remove the problem that heel causes, that sometimes it gets your feet tired faster. The first days are going to be painful until they break in, because Sebago makes thick shoes

It's a Barbour Gamefair - what I believe is the "old" Gamefair too because I'm sure they've just updated it. Fair warning too with the old one at least, I know Barbour are doing more and more lifestyle market stuff but this has quite a roomy cut and it has a quilt lining which makes it very warm if you're layer up with a shirt and jumper and you're in and out of vehicles or shops or whatever in town you can cook if you don't watch it. The stitching on my lining is coming apart a bit too. You could go with a Beaufort or a Bedale and get something similar with the option of having a slimmer fit and a tartan lining if you like, I only chose this one because when I tried a bunch on I can have it zipped right up and still mount my shotgun and have a good range of movement.

>>13875906

It depends what I'm doing to be honest. I have a few spots where I can shoot woodies coming in to roost year round which is primarily standing still in a fairly shelter wood so that might vary from what I'd wear to walk pheasants up for and entire day in December. Driven days are always fun though just because you can dress up a bit more without looking out of place, a nice tie, a pair of breeks or plus fours instead of trousers. I've never been much for particularly loud tweed or stockings/garters though. If I can get away with it I like a fleece gilet and I love that Barbour I mentioned above but if you're looking for something new, Musto, Schöffel and Alan Paine all do a couple of really good jackets in more technical fabrics that still have the same sort of Wax Field Coat cut; I'd have one of them myself if I weren't skint from buying Christmas presents.

Are the Hunters you mean lined with neoprene or something? That's what my Chameaus are and it's fantastic. Much prefer a pair of boots if there's going to be an awful lot of walking though. Boots and gaiters every time too if I'm wearing breeks.
