Just get a buzzcut
Get a Harrington or other blouson shaped jacket.
Get some tapered Jeans
Get doc or solovair 8 eye or 10 eye
Get a plaid shirt and/or a wool crewneck sweater. (SWEATER not sweatshirt!)
Maybe get one of those wool watch caps to cover up your newly bald head since it's winter.
But yeah honestly just go rules-lite with the style and it'll look good.
Like I think if you got some nice fitted flannels instead of ben shermans, wore a wool sweater, but without a button-up underneath it, only cuffed your jeans like twice instead of up past the top of your boots, and got a slightly modified Harrington that wasn't so on the nose, or had a solid color liner instead of tartan, and avoided going full suspender LARP, you would look quite nice, and a much more casual, modern version of the style rather than a costume.

Most my mates are skins I've liked the style for awhile now I was tempted to shave my head but I did that before and I looked really fuckin bad.

cuff your pants higher, you just look like you have orthopedic retard shoes
also tuck your shirt in and get a good belt or suspenders

bro those boots are not that good looking, I'd recommend buying something else. Since you want the skin look you could simply buy actual army boots, if vintage even better

>> No.14913525

>>14912685
Yeah, I mean I don't buy all expensive clothes like this, but I thought it looked nicer then putting on the exact costume, and made for a nice /fa/ grid. Also if you want to split hairs, skinhead culture originally stems from working class youth spending their hard earned pay on respectable, designer clothing to differentiate themselves from hippies. So it's a mostly fashion based subculture.

Yeah darker pants. Also get regular taper. Slim fit isn't for you.
Also the boots look bad because they're steel toe docs AND they're a size too big just to close the laces all perfect, it gives it a clown boot effect.

>>14913591
Yeah thanks for the advice. I'm planning on buying a new pair since my friend gave me these.

>> No.14913977

No problem. Also I don't wanna be mean, but you don't need to tuck your shirt unless it's a button up with shirt tails. Just wear t shirts and sweaters untucked until you get in better shape. I was pudgy for many years so don't take it the wrong way. If you don't like a shaved head get a longer buzzcut like 1/2 inch, or a shorter crewcut like 1/2 inch on a sides, 1 inch on top. Have fun being a boot boy it is fun for sure.
