how are the '60s so fucking effay? literally the perfect decade for fashion.
the high-rise-but-tapered trousers, no longer the stiffness for casualwear of the '50s, not the overdone cringe of the '70s and beyond, just a perfect amount of everything. even now, there are so many brands dedicated purely to replicating '60s style like Drake's and most of the modern fashion pitti umou tier bloggers copy '60s style (see guys like gandy and that swedish guy)
mostly men though, '60s men fashion is really good, womens fashion less so

Alain Delon was a very fashionable man, for those years, but for better, he never seems to have went for a particularly Hippie style. Even people who did not care about fashions were mostly disciplined into dressing decently. In general, I think the worst dressed of the 1960s were the Hippie minority, but they were just a very vocal, minor group. A lot more fashionable, young men looked either derivative of American Ivy League fashions, British Mod and Beatles fashions, or just generally a blend of these elements, without necessarily going Hippie.

I agree. Personally I like mid and early '60s fashion better too, from before hippies, but still even late' 60s hippies were way better than anything that has ever come out of the '70s

This. Back then even your average joe knew about different kinds of collars. Know you'll be surprised to know that they can't even distinguish between basic fabrics, not even natural and man made
