Not sure if /fa/ is the thread for this, but I'll post it here anyway. Have any of you had success with cosmetic surgery? I'm considering getting a sliding genioplasty + submental lipo at some point, so I'm doing some research. I'd be curious what the people of /fa/ have had done. So general cosmetic surgery thread I guess.

ive been thinking of getting a chin implant too. theyre not that expensive either, as i understand it. even if you go to a top surgeon in the US, its usually well under $10,000. i think of surgery as normally costing way more. its possible im misinformed though.
i have two concerns:
1) i have terrible luck. its possible ill be that 1 in a million guy who has complications from a chin implant. theyll accidentally snip a nerve and ill talk like Sylvester Stallone for the rest of my life.
2) how the fuck do i explain to my gf/friends/family that i got cosmetic surgery? i disappear for a month and come back with a chin. that'd be fucking suspicious

really though, i want a chin. im in-shape and a i dress well. ive plateaued. the only way to improve at this point is to buy a chin

I have an extremely fucked up deviated septum that makes my nose looks terrible. I still look good with it. If I fix it I would literally become a 9.5/10. Insurance would cover most of the operation because it's a medical issue but I'm building up the confidence to go through with it. I've never been been under the knife and I'm worried people will judge me for being vain
