No offense but by asking the internet what to wear, it's probably gonna look "dressed by internet core." My best suggestion is jeans of any kind with any top. Some brands are slimmer some are boxier.
Some shops give measurements of models.
Best idea is to measure your best fitting items and go from there. If there's no brick and mortar from a certain brand in your vicinity, you have to go for trial and error, but sending stuff back isn't a problem usually. Don't remove tags or wear longer than a minute and it's fine.
W34 on jeans usually refers to a certain size - google vanity sizing. But W34 can mean different things at different retailers/brands.

I'm ordering 99% at Asos, H&M, Zara and Uniqlo, latter has some of the most accurate sizing table (per item!).
Zara has slim and more boxy stuff, in slim I have to size up around 1,5 sizes S/M to L.
I'm most accustomed to H&M because they don't vary as much between items - M slim fit works best for me for example.

Best is to try in brick and mortar. Alternatively order different sizes and send back liberally. For jeans/trouser lengths you have to go to the tailor for a hem anyway in 90% of cases.

Johnston and Murphy is a mid-tier shoe brand worth checking out, if only for their sales. Their shoes have gotten better recently, but don't expect miracles. I've also heard good things about Cole Haan recently. Whatever you do, avoid Rockport, any "we're Italian!" brands, and anything that has a chunky rubber sole or square toe.

As or suiting, get something cheap and made-to-measure. Indochino, Blank Lapel, etc. Modern Tailor has gone to shit recently, avoid them like herpes.

What are some options for pants to go with boat shoes in this color?

>> No.9853450

>>9853441
I tend to prefer lighter pants with tan shoes like that - think chinos/khakis, not jeans. Or something with a sort of preppy color, like light red.

In other words, don't wear dark wash jeans with them, it can come off a bit strange (though it doesn't clash).

I agree
Just normal tees and plain crewneck work better and are way more versatile.
I'd get grey sweater, it's probably the most versatile piece of clothing you can own, it goes with more or less everything.
