One thing that has always bugged me about the art world is the blatant lack of honesty.

Ive been drawing for 15 years, but only recently do I have fun when drawing.

I still have bad days, but when things are going "your way", you start to enjoy it.

In the past, I've had a few moments where I enjoyed that, but since I've always been limited by my skill, it was a rare occurrence.
Another way of having fun is having no expectation, and accepting all shit that you draw as part of that fun, but while my growth was student by too much pressure, someone always having fun might fall in the trap of having too little pressure.

It doesn't matter if you're a "natural" who can just notice and improve things without thinking, but if you're not, it takes a long while.

I suspect AI will slowly become cucked as corporations take control of it and legislation starts poking at it after the inevitable child porn and propaganda scandals.

Yeah I know almost all models are free and open source and they will have a hard time convicting you for owning a .pb file that contains literally zero illegal content but this probably won't do much on a global scale the same way barely 2% of computers actually run Linux, most will rely on heavily moderated corpo models who won't let you draw certain characters and put ads in your scenes.

I've been posting my work since the day I bought a tablet and the worst thing to happen to me was finding out nobody gave a shit.
I got called out on my mediocre skill a couple times but it was part of a bigger list of grievances over percieved plagiarism or racist/homophobic shit I drew, nobody ever decided to just gangstalk me for six months just because I drew hands weird.

Draw with whatever you usually use and however you usually draw. Yes, try draw on something bigger for more space, then work your way up larger. Anything you feel is limiting you will be apparent after the first session and you can upgrade from there.

You can do the quicker gestures on one page and even overlap them if you can. For the longer poses, try mark how large the pose will be at the top and bottom of the page then work between there so you don't run out of space. Easels feel pretty good for charcoal, highly recommend, but I don't have any experience with graphite.
