I've traded away any means of socializing and attempts of having a gf, in exchange for art gains.

I've not looked back since.

About to study James Gurney's "Color and light" so I can up my coloring game. Is there some way to go about it, like focusing in certain chapters and then creating practices? I was planning to read the whole thing while jotting down notes.

Also on a side note, is the hard round brush and blending a good way to do coloring, or is it really just a meme?

I drew some heads from ref today. I learned how to position eyes/nose better and understood how lips are shaped. I'm starting to get how to do lines better in general too so they look less like shit.
The result is still garbage but I can feel myself pick up a thing or two. Thank you for asking, I'll do twice as much tomorrow! Keep it up anons!

Eventually won the industrial design one, teen challenge, and maybe enviro one. Character one was ridiculously competitive/high level, and the creature one had two or three really good regulars, like Anon313 but just creatures day in day out. Man, good times.
