I really appreciate this post anon. My lines are pretty chicken scratchy but I make conscious effort to try and not make them like that.

I think they get scratchy because I don't have any "construction" skills, the way I draw is I start with the eyes or the beak and then I "mold" everything around it mostly from memory, because I get so anxious trying to copy references perfectly. But this is why I can't draw bodies or anything in 3d right now.

Here is something I drew like a week ago, I need to draw more and get over my tutorial and learning anxiety. I download all these resources from the sticky and from Mega.nz and I look at them and feel fear and then I procrastinate and just boot up a videogame instead.
